THE REPORTER | Head of Service at Yuliddin Away Tapaktuan Hospital, Ikram, said that six sick Rohingya immigrants were undergoing examination at the hospital, complaining of fever, cough, and runny nose.

“The medical team is also examining pregnant Rohingya women. We don’t know their condition yet because the medical team is examining them,” said Ikram, Sunday, October 20, 2024.

Ikram also asked for assistance from related parties, including the International Organization for Immigration or IOM to accompany Rohingya immigrants.

He also asked the security forces to maintain the security of patients who are being treated.

“We also provide a special room separate from other patients. If later the immigrants need further treatment, they will also be given inpatient facilities,” he concluded.[AR]
