THE REPORTER | Residents of Kemumu Hilir Village, Labuhan Haji Timur District, South Aceh, were shocked again by the discovery of a female body, on Saturday, October 19, 2024, the body was found stranded on the shore at around 14.30 WIB.
Residents reported the discovery of the body. Then the joint SAR Team consisting of Basarnas Meulaboh Post, BPBD, TNI, Polri, and the local community went to the location to evacuate the body,
The evacuation process went smoothly. The Head of the South Aceh SAR Task Force, Zumardi, confirmed the discovery of the body.
“It is true that a body was found on the shore of Kemumu Hilir Village. Currently, the body has been evacuated to the nearest health center using an ambulance,” he explained.
This incident adds to the deep sorrow of the local community, who hope that this discovery will be revealed soon. After two days earlier, local fishermen also found a woman’s body floating in local waters.
“The identity and cause of death of the victim are still under investigation by the authorities,” concluded Zumardi.[AR]
