THE REPORTER | Prabowo Subianto’s spokesman, Daniel Azhar Simajuntak, stated that he supports the pair Muzakir Manaf (Mualem) and H. Fadhlullah (Dek Fadh) for the 2024 Aceh Pilkada contest.
“Prabowo Subianto, as the General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party, will certainly move to ensure that his cadres win the Pilkada, so that all his visions and missions can be accelerated appropriately in Aceh,” said Daniel in Jakarta, Monday (14/10/2024), when met by the Spokesperson for the Mualem – Dek Fadh Winning Agency, Mahfudz Y Loethan.
In this meeting, the two discussed a number of strategic matters in building Aceh to be better in the future. Daniel added that Prabowo hopes that the people of Aceh will flock to choose Mualem – Dek Fadh.
“Mr. Prabowo wants Mualem – Dek Fadh to be his extension in Aceh to build a much better Aceh. A province that represents Islamic values that are rahmatan lil alamin,” said Daniel, who is a son of Aceh Tamiang.
Mahfudz added that currently the most important job is to win Mualem-Dek Fadh to become Governor and Deputy Governor of Aceh.
“We discussed a lot, especially about the future of Aceh. Aceh is his priority area to be assisted in its development, including the extension and Special Autonomy,” said Mahfudz.
“The Mualem – Dek Fadh Winning Agency has worked well, and has carried out various penetrations for the interests of Mualem – Dek Fadh’s victory,” he continued.
Prabowo’s support for Mualem does have a long history. Mualem has always supported Prabowo in his three candidacies as President of the Republic of Indonesia. In fact, in every presidential election campaign in Aceh, Mualem appeared as the main campaigner in Aceh.
“The support from Gerindra’s General Chair, Mr. Prabowo, who is the president-elect, is an extraordinary driving force for Mualem-Dek Fadh’s victory,” concluded Mahfudz.[AR]
